Inspired by the practical charm of vintage agricultural ledgers and old-school memo pads, Field Notes was born in 2006 through a collaboration between designer Aaron Draplin and Jim Coudal. What began as a tribute to humble ephemera has become a cult object for creatives, writers, and collectors across the world.
Made entirely in the United States, each notebook is designed with a simple, honest aesthetic - built to be used, scuffed, scribbled in and kept. The signature kraft cover, grid ruling and compact format echo an era when paper was a tool, not a statement.
From limited editions to enduring standards, Field Notes balances nostalgia with quality. It's stationery made for those who think with their hands.
